Self-drive plant hire

Machines are available on a self-drive basis where you have your own competent operator, or with our operator if you would rather we ran it. CPCS, CSCS and SSSTS accredited throughout.

The things people ask first.

If what you need is not covered here, ring and ask — you will get a straight answer either way.

/01 What areas do you cover? Day to day we cover the PE12 area and Lincolnshire, from our base near Spalding. We are happy to look at any job further afield if it is the right one — larger earthworks packages such as reservoirs and lagoons in particular.
/02 Do you take on domestic jobs, or only commercial? Both, and agricultural too. We work for main contractors, farms, estates and private clients, and the same standards apply whichever it is.
/03 Can we hire the plant without an operator? Yes. Plant is available on a self-drive basis where you have a competent operator, or with ours if you would rather we ran it.
/04 What tickets do your operators hold? CPCS for plant operation, CSCS for site access and SSSTS for supervision. All current, and we can send certificates with a quote.
/05 Do you build reservoirs and lagoons? Yes — irrigation reservoirs, slurry and effluent lagoons, fishing lakes and amenity ponds, excavated, profiled, lined and finished. It is the part of the job most groundworkers turn down and where a lot of our time goes.
/06 Will you take a job from start to finish? That is how we prefer to work. Site strip and dig, drainage and services, stone and concrete, then reinstatement — one contractor throughout, so there is no gap between trades and nobody else to chase.
