J E Jones Contracting Ltd, trading as J.E. Jones, is a groundworks and earthworks contractor based near Spalding in south Lincolnshire. We work for main contractors, farms, estates and private clients across Lincolnshire and the counties around it.
01 — What we do
From a single drainage run to a whole site.
Most of our work is groundworks in the ordinary sense — site strip, muck shift, foundations, drainage, stone and concrete. We take it from the first dig through to finished levels, so there is no gap between trades and nobody else to chase when something needs sorting.
Alongside that we build water containment: irrigation reservoirs, slurry and effluent lagoons, fishing lakes and amenity ponds. That work needs the right machines, the right levels and someone who has lined a basin before. It is the part of the job most groundworkers turn down, and it is where a lot of our time goes.
02 — How we work
Straight answers, and a price that holds.
We would rather tell you a job is not worth doing than take it on and dress up the bill afterwards.
03 — Accreditations
Qualified and carded.
Main contractors check cards before anyone sets foot on site. Ours are current, and we can send certificates with a quote.
04 — Coverage
Where we work
Day to day we cover Lincolnshire. For larger earthworks packages — reservoirs and lagoons in particular — we will travel further.
